Emergency Fundraiser
A huge thank you to everyone that has donated to our emergency fundraiser for the victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake! The fundraiser is now closed but the people in the affected areas will need on-going support to survive. Please also consider supporting our work with a recurring donation or by purchasing items in our earthquake relief shop.
A devasting earthquake has hit south-eastern Turkey, near the Syrian border in the early morning of 06.02.2023 which has killed more than 40,000 people, numbers rising.
Our team in the AFCI Turkey office on the ground has been affected but is well. We are looking to urgently send funds to the area in order to purchase medical aid, blankets, tents, warm clothes and any other equipment as needed to provide to the affected people. Many of them are refugees or minorities who have always been at a disadvantage and have now lost everything.
